Call for Papers (CFP) – PGDay Mumbai

PostgreSQL Mumbai Meetup (PG Mumbai) is a community-driven initiative focused on real-world PostgreSQL usage, learning, and collaboration. Every Postgres event starts with great speakers. Whether you’re a first-time speaker or a regular at Postgres conferences, we’d love to consider your talk proposal(s) about Postgres.

PGMumbai bring together Solution Leaders, DB Heads, DBAs, Developers, Architects, SREs, Data Engineers across India to share their practical experiences and insights from the PostgreSQL ecosystem.

At each PGMumbai event, we ensure captivating presentations from both new and experienced speakers. The audience will love your stories about Postgres and its extensions & tools too.

We welcome proposals from across the spectrum—industry experts, startups, enterprises, and the open-source community. Each session comprises a 30-minute talk followed by a dynamic 10-minute Q&A.

Session Formats

  • Talk: 30 minutes — Technical or experience-based session
  • Lightning Talk: 5–10 minutes — Short, focused idea, demo, or insight

Submission Requirements

  • Session title
  • Abstract (100–400 words)
  • Session format (Talk or Lightning Talk)
  • Speaker bio (100–150 words)
  • Optional links (GitHub, blog, LinkedIn, slides)
